Dr Toni Weller

Dr Toni Weller has worked in clinical primary care in the region for 20 years and is currently a clinical and medical director at Townsville Hospital and Health Service.

Dr Weller is a general practitioner with qualifications in medicine, commerce, and law. Her areas of focus include stakeholder engagement, governance, and system transformation, providing a multidisciplinary approach to decision-making.

She has contributed to the development of care models in both primary and tertiary settings, including the GP with Special Interest (GPSI) program and the Residential Aged Care – Nurse Practitioner Service.

Dr Weller also serves as a subject matter expert on independent projects and is Co-Chair of the Queensland General Practice Liaison Network. She holds non-executive director roles with NQPHN and a university residential college, and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
